The Star Spot is looking for a new Producer. Here is your chance to help share your love of astronomy and space exploration with an international audience.
The Producer is responsible for managing all aspects of the show’s production on a day to day basis. Tasks include:
- Communicating with guests to invite them onto the show and to ensure that information required from guests is obtained
- Arranging the recording schedule of interviews and news, involving communicating with the show’s hosts and journalists
- Managing the show’s marketing and promotions, including online and social media marketing
- Building relationships with new partners, including universities, employment agencies and youth mentorship organizations.
The time commitment would be about 6 to 8 hours per week. The expectation is that a Producer would commit to this role for a minimum of one year.
