Current in Space
Considering Canada’s size, the Canadian Aerospace and space sector punches well above its weight. It is the fifth largest in the world, employing 80,000 strong. On February 27, 2012 the Canadian government announced the launch of an independent review of the aerospace sector. Former Canadian Minister of Industry David Emerson will lead a team consisting of a 3-member Advisory Council. Today’s Current in Space segment features a review and analysis of the Canadian Aerospace Review. More information on the review is available at Review of Aerospace and Space Programs and Policies, where public submissions may also be made.
